Los Cabos managed to overcome the passage of the devastating Hurricane Odile. Hand in hand with the Los Cabos Unstoppable campaign, the Festival was the event that reactivated activities, thus becoming the banner of a strong and resilient destination. The Festival’s film program expanded that year, adding new sections comprising world cinema, music, environmental issues and the horror genre. The program was made up of 49 national and international titles –of which more than 90% were premieres in Mexico–, with more than 100 screenings over a 5-day period.
