In 2016, the Festival celebrated five years of existence, consolidating its efforts in becoming a meeting point between Mexico, the United States and Canada’s film industries. Of the 45 films screened during the Festival, more than 80% were premieres. That year, as part of the Industry platform, Los Cabos Meet-Mart was also launched: a meeting point where all those involved in the creation, production, distribution, marketing and exhibition of independent cinema meet.
